Healing begins with feeling safe enough to be yourself. My goal is to create a calm, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel connected, supported, and empowered to move forward at a pace that feels right for them.
Throughout my career in community mental health and mind and body wellness, I have seen how thoughtful care that considers trauma and culture can transform lives. I became a therapist because I wanted to help people feel seen, supported, and capable of healing. Helping people reconnect with their own strengths and discover that healing is possible continues to be one of the most meaningful parts of my work.
I work with older teens, adults, and seniors experiencing trauma, anxiety, grief, major life transitions, and family or intergenerational challenges. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals navigating cultural identity, family expectations, and immigration stress. As someone who understands the importance of culture in shaping our experiences, I strive to create a space where every client feels accepted, understood, and valued.
My style is warm, calm, and easy to talk to. I believe therapy should feel collaborative rather than overwhelming. Together we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable, explore what matters most to you, and develop practical tools that help you feel more regulated, confident, and empowered both inside and outside of our sessions.
Outside of work, I stay grounded through mind and body practices including Qigong, Tai Chi, meditation, and chanting. I also enjoy hiking, walking, preparing healthy meals, spending time with family and friends, and teaching a weekly Qigong class. These practices help me stay centered so I can be fully present for the people I serve.
